Quick Facts

Swipe the essentials.

01

THCA Cartridges

THCA cartridges are vape cartridges filled with hemp-derived cannabis extract designed for vaporization. When THCA is heated, it can convert into delta-9 THC.

02

Not CBD Vapes

CBD vapes are typically made for cannabidiol-focused effects. THCA cartridges are made for a THC-style experience after heat activation. They are not the same product.

03

Dispensary Comparison

In real-world use, hemp-derived THCA cartridges can feel similar to dispensary cartridges. The main difference is the compliance pathway and how the product is tested and classified.

04

Battery Required

Most cartridges require a compatible 510-thread vape battery. Do not overheat cartridges. Start low, use short pulls, and follow the product instructions.

05

Drug Testing

THCA can convert into THC when heated. If you are subject to drug testing, do not use THCA cartridges. They may show up on a drug test.

06

Shipping

Orders placed before 3 PM EST ship the same day when possible. Delivery time is calculated based on the shipping service selected at checkout.

FAQ

Cartridge questions. Clear answers.

Fast answers on legality, age requirements, potency, testing, drug tests, shipping, and how THCA cartridges compare to CBD vapes and dispensary cartridges.

What is a THCA cartridge?
A THCA cartridge is a vape cartridge filled with hemp-derived cannabis extract designed to be vaporized with a compatible vape battery. When THCA is heated, it can convert into delta-9 THC.
Is a THCA cartridge the same as a CBD vape?
No. CBD vapes are usually made for cannabidiol-focused use. THCA cartridges are made for a THC-style experience after heat activation. They are not the same product.
What is the difference between THCA cartridges and recreational dispensary cartridges?
In use, the experience may be similar depending on the extract and potency. The main difference is how the product is lab-tested, classified, and sold under hemp rules versus a state recreational cannabis program.
Do THCA cartridges get you high?
THCA can convert into THC when heated, and THC may cause intoxication. Effects vary by product, potency, tolerance, and how much you use.
Are THCA cartridges legal?
THCA cartridges are offered as hemp-derived products in qualifying markets, but laws vary by state. Some states restrict or prohibit hemp-derived THC products. Always check the Vertex State Legal Guide before ordering.
Do I need to be 21 to purchase?
Yes. You must be at least 21 years old to purchase from Vertex Exotics.
Will THCA cartridges show up on a drug test?
Yes. If you are drug tested, do not use THCA cartridges. THCA can convert into THC when heated, and drug tests commonly screen for THC metabolites.
Are Vertex Exotics cartridges lab-tested?
Yes. Cartridge products should be lab-tested for cannabinoid potency and may also be tested for residual solvents, pesticides, heavy metals, microbials, and other safety markers.
Does Vertex Exotics ship cartridges nationwide?
Vertex Exotics ships eligible hemp-derived products where legally permitted. Product availability and shipping eligibility depend on your state laws and current restrictions.
When will I get my package?
Orders placed before 3 PM EST ship the same day when possible. Delivery time is calculated based on the shipping service selected at checkout. Carrier delays, weekends, holidays, weather, and destination can affect final delivery time.
How potent are Vertex Exotics cartridges?
Potency varies by cartridge. Always read the product page and lab results when available. If you are new to THC-style products, start with small pulls and wait before using more.
